Dr. S. Strovski graduated from medical school in 1984.  He worked in Russia as a hospitalist for 9 years, rotating through the departments of Cardiology, Pulmonology and General Internal Medicine.  In 1993 he and his family moved to South Africa where, together with his wife Dr. G. Strovskaia, they practiced in a rural hospital and outpatient clinic for 4 years, providing a wide variety of emergency services, surgical and obstetrical procedures.

In 1998 Dr. Strovski moved to Canada, where he was a partner at Fraserview Medical Associates in Quesnel, BC and staff physician at GR Baker Memorial Hospital.  He had large family practice and worked in the Emergency Department as well as cared for obstetrical patients.  Dr. Strovski is a clinical instructor and a teacher with UBC Department of Family Medicine.

In 2007 the family moved to South Surrey and Dr. Strovski worked at Clovercare Medical Clinic.  He has privileges at Peace Arch Hospital where he mostly takes care of maternity patients.

Dr. Strovski enjoys all aspects of Family Practice, but delivering babies is his long time passion and he is happy to offer a full spectrum of maternity care, including prenatal visits, labour and delivery and postpartum care.  He is also part of the Peace Arch Maternity Clinic.

Dr. Strovski is looking forward to providing a full spectrum of General Practice to his patients.

 

Dr. G. Strovskaia graduated from medical school in 1985, and worked in Russia as a General Pediatrician and later neonatologist for 8 years before moving to South Africa with her family where she worked in a rural hospital.

She was also Senior Lecturer with the Department of Family Medicine of Medical University of Southern Africa.  For the next 4 years she enjoyed work in the busy ER, taking care of hospital patients and outpatient clinics, rotating through departments of Surgery, Obstetrics, General Medicine and Psychiatry.

In 1998 the family moved to Canada where she was a partner at Fraserview Medical Associates and staff physician at GR Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel, BC.

Since 2007 she has been working in Surrey.  Beside providing her patients with a full spectrum of General Practice, Dr. G. Strovskaia also developed a passion for Cosmetic Medicine.  For the last 7 years cosmetic procedures, (Botox, fillers, injectables and acne treatments), became an important part of her practice.   Dr. Strovskaia is also a member of American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS).

She is looking forward to being a part of the doctors team at Panorama Village Medical Clinic.

Dr. Reinhold Bernat graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1978.  He attended post-graduate training at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario and started to practice Family Medicine in 1980.  His first practice was with a group in Vancouver east where he did full spectrum Family Medicine.  He was on the admitting staff at Vancouver General Hospital and BC Women’s Hospital as well as visiting staff at BC Children’s Hospital.

 

He had a keen interest in medical education and was an active member in the UBC, Department of Family Medicine where he participated in the post-graduate and undergraduate programs. During this period, he was involved in curriculum development and supervising the Department’s first year undergraduate course as well as supervising undergraduate students and Family Medicine Residents.

A second interest was hospital medicine and for 10 years he was the Head of the Department of Family Practice, VGH. During this period many innovations were introduced into the Department.

In 2002, he left Canada to take up responsibility as the Chair, Department of Family Medicine, Sheikh Khalifa Medical Centre, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.  This was a very challenging 6 years and during this time the principles of family medicine were introduced into the existing primary health care system.  The initial 2 clinics grew to a total of 10 clinics by the end of 2008.

Dr. Bernat returned to Vancouver in August 2008 and has recently joined the clinic.  He will be providing walk-in services and at a later date appointment based family medicine services.

His personal interests include reading, especially political history, music of all types and travel to different parts of the world.

 

Dr. Grant Meek graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2003 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree. Subsequently, he worked in private practice in South Africa until moving to Quesnel in 2007. While in Quesnel, Dr.Meek worked at Holly Clinic as a family physician and also at GR Baker Memorial Hospital rotating through the departments of general surgery, orthopedic surgery and obstetrics.


Dr. Meek moved to the lower mainland in 2009 to accept a hospitalist position at Surrey Memorial Hospital. He also worked at several walk in clinics before establishing his family practice at Panorama Village Medical Clinic in May 2010. Dr. Meek is no longer accepting new patients into his practice.  He will continue to provide walk-in services.
He brings to our team a friendly and compassionate attitude and a shared vision in providing outstanding patient care.

Dr. Meek’s personal interests include mountain biking, skiing, reading and travelling.


Dr. Sharon Vipler completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of British Columbia. She completed her residency at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Dr. Vipler worked in Alberta at a clinic for inner city and homeless people. She also worked as a clinical preceptor at a University of Alberta affiliated clinic.

 

 

Dr. Vipler moved back to B.C. after having a baby and returned to work in early 2010. She was locuming in White Rock, Tsawassen and Surrey before deciding to establish her practice at Panorama Village Medical Clinic.

Dr. Vipler is a huge believer that a balanced, healthy diet and active lifestyle are the best defense against poor health.

Dr. Vipler’s personal interests include cross-country skiing, hiking, spending time with her family, cooking, reading, exploring museums and art galleries, and traveling.


Dr Patti Anderson has been practicing medicine for 12 yrs, 6 of them in Calgary and then in White Rock.  She holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Calgary and then went to Medical School in Calgary.  Dr. Anderson completed her residency in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Anderson worked for many years as a fitness and dance instructor and many of her patients are familiar  with her from fitness videos she made before becoming a doctor!  She moved to B.C. to garden and see green things all year round.

Dr. Anderson is very hands-on and loves to perform medical procedures.  She has 8 years experience with Botox, injectable fillers and scleratherapy.  Her subspecialty outside of Family Medicine is Corrections Medicine.  Dr. Anderson works at the Surrey Pretrial Center.

Her passions include her daugher, her many creatures she shares her home with, gardening and building things.
